Mother!

This scene is really something. Because you can see in his face when he sees her. “What? Oh! :D MOMMY’S HERE!” 
But in her face you can see everything. A mother’s worst fear just became true, he has become his father. A man at the head of a war, a war she could’ve have stopped if only she had fought harder, if only she’d convinced her husband to stay, or to help her sister. Her family is literally falling apart and a huge piece of it has just fallen off. His short life is just flashing before her eyes, from the time he skinned his knees to the time he got his first sword to the time he started a war, and she’s seeing his eventual death too. In this moment the loss of another piece of her family is being laid on her shoulders.
